49ers sign 5-year extension with A. Davis

Super Bowl XLVII Ravens vs 49ers in New OrleansSAN FRANCISCO, April 5 (UPI) -- The San Francisco 49ers have signed a five-year extension worth nearly $37.3 million with right tackle Anthony Davis, a source told NBC Sports.

NBC quoted the source as saying the deal has $17 million in guarantees.

Davis, the NFL's 11th overall draft pick in 2010, has started in all 48 regular-season games in his pro career.
